The goal of this new web site is provide a one stop resource for information on the latest iPhone Apps being developed by local developers. This site is a FREE RESOURCE for any local developer to get their latest application showcased and even get a review up before it’s launched on the iTunes App Store.
Our goal with this web site is to create a central hub for Calgarians to see what’s going on with the local development community and to help support it by find out about the hottest new apps.
Nope, not at all my furry little friends. We just need your apps and for you to spread the word.
This is a FREE WAY to have published content on your application. It’s a FREE WAY for you to get some exposure and help build the community. Simply use the contact us page or send us an email at apps@armadillostudios.ca and we’ll be in touch about your App. If you give us enough info and time, we can even write a review before it’s launch date.
That being said, we do have space for developers to advertise their latest apps at an inexpensive rate. If you want more information on that, check out the advertisers page
The guys behind this idea are the team from Armadillo Studios Inc.
Armadillo Studios is a small web design company that has become increasingly involved in the growing iPhone Development Community in Calgary. Ryan Boley was at the the initial iPhone Development School in May and both of us were in full force at the inaugural iPhone Dev Camp in September.
We are also avid bloggers and writers. Connor has been blogging regularly for sites such as music-critic.ca, The Downtown Calgary Association, our own Corporate Blog and c.t.overdrive.ca. Some of his articles/posts have appeared in unlimitedmagazine and lifehacker.
It is this background and familiarity with the growing Calgary community, that we hope will help make this a great little hub.
